Why We Serve Breakfast All Day (And Why We'll Never Stop)
Most kitchens cut breakfast off at 11 like it's a law. We never signed that paper. From 6 AM open to evening close, the full griddle menu stays on — here's the thinking behind the most-loved rule at Mom's.

Ask anyone who's eaten with us what they love about Mom's, and somewhere in the first sentence you'll hear it: breakfast all day. Not breakfast-until-we-feel-like-it. The whole griddle — omelets, skillets, pancakes, waffles, French toast — from the 6 AM open until we shut the lights off.
It sounds simple, but it means running two kitchens at once: the griddle line and the lunch line, side by side, all shift long. We do it because a craving doesn't check the clock.
What 'all day' actually covers
Signature omelets, from the Plain cheddar classic to the Fajita. Five skillet builds, led by the Meat Lover's. Waffles, cinnamon-custard French toast, and pancakes you can dress up with chocolate chips, pecans or blueberries.
And the big plates don't clock out either: the Chicken & Waffle, the Sampler Scrambled, and the ham steak platters are all fair game at supper time.
"Nobody ever asked for pancakes at 6 PM and deserved to hear 'no.'"
The 6 PM pancake table
There's a kind of table we see every week: shift workers just off the clock, kids after evening practice, grandpas who simply believe eggs belong at dinner. That table is the whole reason. Breakfast is comfort, and comfort shouldn't have a curfew.
So no, we'll never stop. The griddle stays hot till close — that's the rule we opened with.
